Beaver Creek, Yukon to Fairbanks, Alaska:

Made It!

Here's a view of the road conditions on the US side of the border just prior to the border station itself:

If you double-click and zoom in, you can see it's only 298 miles to Fairbanks.  You can also get some idea of what the road conditions are like, and for the first 15 miles or so inside Alaska, they got much worse.  But, after that, for the most part the road was pretty good all the way to Fairbanks.

This is a picture I took a few miles inside Alaska of the Tanana River Valley:

And, the Richardson River Valley, a little further up the pike:

Anyway, the scenery was pretty good most of the way to Fairbanks.  Got here about 2:30 or so and I'll be taking the bike in tomorrow morning for two new tires and an oil change.  After that, some sight-seeing.  Miles today:  365.  Total:  4,962.
